Lennox Point Dental
Lennox Point Dental is owned and operated by Dr Angus Lambie. Alongside Dr. Lambie, Dr. Lauren McGuinness is a highly trained and skilled dentist now working full time in our lovely practice. Supporting the dentists are our great support staff of oral heath therapists, dental assistants and front office coordinators. We believe that the combination of a smaller, boutique style practice allows us to focus on individual needs with an emphasis on continuity of care, something not always possible in the modern trend of corporatized health care. Long-standing relationships with local specialists including orthodontists, oral surgeons, periodontists (gum specialist) and endodontics (root canal therapy) enable the best possible options for each individualised treatment to be explored.
Customised treatment plans enable financial transparency from consult to completion and everything in between.

The current premises, operational since January 2020, has been meticulously designed to optimise state of the art equipment, patient care and infection control standards within a comfortable, relaxed and friendly environment. This has always been the hallmark of Lennox Point Dental.

Meet the Team
Lennox Point Dental acknowledges that we are here on the land of the Bundjalung people. The Bundjalung are the traditional owners of this land and are part of the oldest surviving continuous culture in the world. Jingi walla.
PRINCIPLE DENTIST
Dr. Angus Lambie
Dr Angus Lambie is the principal dentist and founder of Lennox Point Dental. Dr Lambie graduated in 1993 from the University of Queensland, and after stints on the Sunshine Coast and in the UK, commenced practice in Lennox Head in 2000. He has a long commitment to providing high quality dental care to the local community of Lennox Head and beyond.
Within dentistry, Dr Lambie’s special interests include Root Canal therapy (endodontics), crown and bridgework and implant therapy.
Outside dentistry, Angus enjoys surfing with his two grown boys, a few rounds of golf and of course playing music.
A staple in the Lennox community for years and still enjoying all the amazing things on offer in the beautiful area we call home.
DENTIST
Dr. Lauren Mcguinness
Dr Lauren McGuinness graduated in 2010 and began working as an Associate Dentist in Ireland for five years before travelling to Australia. Over the last ten years in Australia, Dr Lauren has worked across both public and private sectors in Melbourne, Ballina, Lismore and now Lennox Head.
Dr. Lauren has provided clinical supervision to university students and completed further training at the University of Melbourne in restorative dentistry and minor oral surgery.
Dr. Lauren enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in surgical wisdom tooth removal, simple orthodontic aligners and aesthetic consultations for bruxism and wrinkle concerns.
Outside the dental clinic, Dr Lauren keeps busy running around after her two lovely, busy boys, loves to take her stand up paddle board around Shaws Bay and partake in trivia at the bowlo on a Thursday.
ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST
James McInnes
James McInnes is the newest member of the team at Lennox Point Dental.
He is a Sydney University Graduate and has been working in the public dental sector, serving the northern rivers community.
Having called the Ballina region home for the last 15 years, James is passionate about supporting the oral health and wellbeing of the local community.
As an Oral Health Therapist James is specially trained in caring for children and young people and also provides check-ups, cleans and restorative treatments like fillings alike for adults.
His approach focuses on preventative care, using our Airflow technology for the most gentle, thorough clean around.
When his not cleaning teeth James enjoys getting involved in a wide range of sports, spending time on local golf courses and relaxing with friends.
